1892 2d. olive-bistre (perf 12½ x 12), strip of three and two singles and 6d. blue on registered envelope from Bremersdorp to Hannover Germany, all cancelled by the squared-circle Bremersdorp/Swaziel/12 MEI 92 in blue also showing the oval framed "R Z.A.R." and the oval London registered transit datestamp (13.6) in red, on reverse cds Steynsdorp (13 MY), Johannesburg (21 MY), Cape Town and Hannover arrival (14.6). A very attractive cover franked 1/4d. being 6d. for registration and 10d. for double rate of 5d. per ½ oz to Europe. (Van der Molen p. 37), wax seal on reverse removed. Provenance: Talbot Cox
