Auction 256 March 2023
Our 256th auction entails extensive collections and stocks of Netherlands and colonies, the first part of the impressive C. Avezaat collection (single frankings and first day covers) and the second part of the P. van Alteren collection (Dutch numeral cancellations). In addition we offer better lots foreign countries (especially French colonies), coins and picture postcards.
1942-1962 ca. 40 (veld)poststukken w.b. APO's 24, 31, 32, 33, 41, 321, 322, 503, 565, 704, 710, 713, 717, 909, 920, 921, 925, 928 en 929, Japanse veldpostkaart (tank op brug) gefrankeerd met Amerikaans 6 cent luchtpostzegel en gestempeld met APO 24 May 9 1944 (tussen mei en oktober '44 actief te Hollandia) met boodschap: "Her's a Nip postcard picked up on the airfield in our recent operation", stempels Veldpost Nieuw-Guinea, Marine Postkantoor Biak etc. in map
