Complete letter from St.Thomas de 24 1846, transit London jan 26 1847 to Aberdeen (F ja 27 1847), interesting content: There are no English merchants in the place, a most strange fact, they are principally Jews, and Germans, a few bad specimens of Beggarly Scotchman and one or two sharp keen fellows of Yankees.
