Our 256th auction entails extensive collections and stocks of Netherlands and colonies, the first part of the impressive C. Avezaat collection (single frankings and first day covers) and the second part of the P. van Alteren collection (Dutch numeral cancellations). In addition we offer better lots foreign countries (especially French colonies), coins and picture postcards.
12½ cent lichtgrijs op telegram-envelop van het Rijkstelegraafkantoor te Vlissingen 26-5-1896 naar London met aankomststempel 27-12-1896, aldaar retour gestuurd i.v.m. onvolledig adres (insufficiently addressed) op 30-5-1896 en retour te Vlissingen op 19-6. Het telegram kon waarschijnlijk niet worden doorgeseind en is daarom per post verzonden, zeldzaam gebruik! Envelop iets ruw geopend.
