Our 256th auction entails extensive collections and stocks of Netherlands and colonies, the first part of the impressive C. Avezaat collection (single frankings and first day covers) and the second part of the P. van Alteren collection (Dutch numeral cancellations). In addition we offer better lots foreign countries (especially French colonies), coins and picture postcards.
1887/1958 extensive collection postal history of Alaska alphabetically sorted on city and postmarks including many Discontinued Post offices (DPO’s), pre-1900 covers (10x), postcards, fdc’s and better items (Nome type 1, Klawack type 1, Dempsey type 1 etc.) in 10 albums, small box with unsorted covers and additional Postmark of Territorial Alaska catalogue (4th edition) in 2 large boxes
