Our 257th sale features an impressive Bosnia collection (the D.M. van Gelderen collection including proofs and many variaties). Furthermore we offer specialised and large collections of Italy, Latin America and Poland. An extensive philatelic library is also on sale for collectors of philatelic literature.
For Netherlands collectors and dealers this sale features the 2nd part of Dutch collector C. Avezaat (Netherlands and Colonies single frankings and fdc's). 1923/1928 Saseno-Isola postmarks (July. 27.1928), on Floreale 10 Lire, Floreale 2.50 Lire and Emanuele III 1.75 Lire (Sass. nos 91, 203, 214) on piece. Rare use of the 10 Lire in Saseno! fine/very fine with 1981 Enzo Diena certificate. Additional Saseno Sass. nos 1-8 set used on album pages in folder
1921-1924 specialised collection of the 1921 Vittoria Alata (Winged Victory) issue and 1924 Lira una overprints including Eritrea, Libya and Somalia overprints, covers/postcards and many varieties/errors: (partially) imperforate, inverted overprint, overprint and perforation shifts, double overprints etc. The collection is organised on perforation and watermark varieties with focus on genuinely used stamps (including Sass. 161a with 1991 Sorani certificate). In addition the collection represents (corner) blocks of 4 (Sass. 159a, Somalia lira una overprint, combination blocks with and without watermark), sheet parts and many better ex. (10 cent imperforate in pair (Sass. 120e) with 2010 Biondi certificate, 1 Lire overprint on 5 cent imperforate at bottom (Sass. 158af), some toning, with 2001 Raybaudi certificate, 10 cent Libya inverted overprint (Sass. 35a), 1 Lire on 5 cent (Sass. 158) on postcard from Pontebbe Nova to Triest etc. Neatly organized on album pages in ordner
