Benjamin Franklin 1 cent blue type IV imperforate on so called "Bootleg" letter from locally in Boston, Massachussets 2-8-1854, very fine. This letter was written in Liverpool (GB) and privately carried by ship "The Canada" to Boston and posted there, saving 23 cents for the sender!
