Dragon ½ cent brown (2x) on front of picture postcard with written Souvenir de la Course Pekin-Paris Juin Juillet 1907 and signed Eug(ène) Lelouvier, very fine. The Famous Peking to Paris Rally was held in the second half of 1907. 5 Automobiles departed from Peking to cross the whole of the Eurasian continent in a race to reach Paris first. Eugène Lelouvier, writer of this card, was the organizer of this race on behalf of the French newspaper "Le Matin"
