Two letters dated the 2nd and 6th of August 1698 written by John Edgeworth, major of king William III to William Blathwayt, Secretary at War, who resided with the king at the Loo Palace near Apeldoorn (the Netherlands) that summer. The WR marking stands for William Roberts, who received these letters at the York Building's sub post office in London in order to process them. Correspondence involves the son of Edgeworth. Both letters written in clear handwriting, fine/very fine
