Auction 256 March 2023
Our 256th auction entails extensive collections and stocks of Netherlands and colonies, the first part of the impressive C. Avezaat collection (single frankings and first day covers) and the second part of the P. van Alteren collection (Dutch numeral cancellations). In addition we offer better lots foreign countries (especially French colonies), coins and picture postcards.
1914-1918 WWI Fieldpost, approx. 110 (post)cards/covers with some better, censor, administrative post, marine mail (Kriegsmarine), wounded mail (militärpflege) in folder
1870-1950c. collection postal stationery (approx. 400 ex.) used and unused including Rohrpost (pneumatic mail), bilingual postcards, uprated, duplicates etc. in 3 Davo albums and shoebox in box
1834/1860 collection pre-stamps covers (ca. 57x) including many town cancels in album
