De 256e veiling omvat uitgebreide collecties en voorraden Nederland, het eerste deel van de omvangrijke collectie C. Avezaat (enkelfrankeringen en 1e-dagbrieven) en het tweede deel van de collectie puntstempels van P. van Alteren. Tevens is er wederom een uitgebreid segment buitenlandse collecties en voorraden (beter Franse koloniën), munten en prentbriefkaarten.

1890-1960c. maximumcards and postcards with stamp affixed on front including better ex. (including Asia), some better fdc's Israel etc. in plastic box
1850c. onwards mostly older and classic material in mixed quality, some forgeries and 2 classic covers (Denmark 1867 and Toscane 1853) on 5 stockcards in envelope
1860c. onwards with Greece, Switzerland, Australian States, Germany etc. including some postmarks in stockbook
1940-1945, WOII mainly fieldpost USA and Australia (approx. 150 covers) with different censor, censor labels and postmarks. In addition some UK censored mail in small box
1850 onwards including better items in very mixed quality including forgeries!, Old German States, Sierra Leone, Uruguay etc. in stockbook
1900/1945c including China, Japan, Liberia, Panama, Ethiopia, Israel used and */** including better sets on stockbook pages
1860/1960 ca., over 250 older covers/postal stationery with a.o. Belgium, Germany, Italy and Vatican City in small tin box
1950/2000c. a large quantity of */** stamps and miniature sheets/sheet parts including Japan, former French Colonies, Topical sets, Middle east etc. in 13 stockbooks and stock cards
