CHINA to INDIA 1882 cover tied by finest strike "Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company" shipmail cancellation with content, from Shanghai to Bombay / India. An extremely rare ship letter especially in such premium condition, this strike shows every detail of the intricate design with perfect clarity. Most of the known strikes are blurry or incomplete. Even complete strikes are not as bold and strong as the example offered here, with every line of the design showing perfect detail. Showpiece for an advanced collection.
